No quick remedy to Norfolk Island shortages

Residents on Norfolk Island continue to go without as problems with the island's shipping service mean many basic grocery items have been in short supply for weeks.

A member of the island's regional council, Lisle Snell, a former chief minister on Norfolk, says the islanders are getting by despite supermarket shelves being empty.

He told Don Wiseman the shortages are likely to last for the foreseeable future.
