Young entrepreneurs in Fiji say getting access to funding to start businesses is their biggest challenge.

Last month, the government revealed it had received 78 applications from foreign investors to launch companies in Fiji.

The Chair of the Young Entrepreneurs Council, Avinit Narayan, says unlike the foreign investors, most young people don't have financial resources.

He told Christine Rovoi they also don't have the collateral to back loan applications.

Avinit Narayan shares his experience as a young entrepreneur in Fiji.
