The Red Cross says public health preparations must improve in the Pacific as the threat of the coronavirus grows in the region.
The Asia Pacific head of health for the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies says Pacific nations could suffer if the virus reaches their shores.
Dr Oyungerel Amgaa told Jenny Meyer the federation is helping the regions least developed countries to prepare for the worst.
