Marshalls' govt call for answers over killing in US

Earlier this month police in Spokane in Washington shot dead a Marshallese man, who had failed to stop for a routine traffic check.

The Marshall Islands government is seeking an explanation from the US Government and agencies in Washington.

Our correspondent in the Marshall Islands, Giff Johnson, says this is the second time in less than three years that police in Spokane have shot a man from the large Marshallese community there.

He told Don Wiseman more about the latest incident.
