The Marshall Islands health secretary says the country's worst-ever dengue outbreak has become worse in recent weeks, and the health system is struggling to cope.

To date, 162 cases were recorded on the main island, Majuro, last week, with 41 in a single day.

Jack Niedenthal told Jamie Tahana that last week was the worst week for dengue fever on the main island, Majuro, in six months.
