From , 5:02 am on 29 November 2019

About 200 people had to be evacuated in the Marshall Islands on Wednesday as an ocean swell flooded the capital, Majuro.

Half a metre of water washed through the downtown area forcing people to take refuge at shelters in schools and churches.

Our Marshall Islands correspondent, Giff Johnson, told Ben Robinson Drawbridge the frequency of ocean inundation events is increasing.
