Tukuitonga reflects on achievements in SPC's 70th year

The outgoing head of the Pacific Community says he's proud of the work he's done turning around the organisation, which is now in its 70th year.

However, Colin Tukuitonga says he's worried about a trend away from multilateralism, which could imperil organisations such as his.

He says the SPC, a large organisation which does technical work in 22 Pacific countries, has turned itself around and is proven value for money.

Dr Tukuitonga, who finishes after seven years next month, told Jamie Tahana he's been at the helm during an interesting time in the Pacific.
