Samoa's Director of Health says behavioural and not cultural issues have contributed to the recent deaths of babies in the country.
The number of children who have died in Samoa related to the current measles epidemic could be as high as five with tests and investigations still continuing.
The epidemic follows the death of two children in 2018 who had been incorrectly administered a vaccine.
The discovery of two abandoned babies in September also led to a call for the establishment of a 'baby hatch' programme.
Leausa Dr Take Naseri told Jenny Meyer there are social issues which the government is providing plenty of services for.
