Papua New Guinea's Accident Investigation Commission says the country does not have an adequate Search and Rescue Coordination Centre.
That was the finding of three separate investigations into air accidents for which interim factual reports were released this week.
Ben Robinson Drawbridge spoke with the commission's investigations manager, Alan Stray, who says the centre has not been properly resourced.
