A marine scientist and dive school operator in the Cook Islands is returning to New Zealand with the aim of entering politics.
Steve Lyon has been a prominent member of the business community on Rarotonga since 2005, including a spell heading the Chamber of Commerce, and providing expert knowledge on key environmental issues, like the algal problems that affected Muri Lagoon.
But as he told Don Wiseman, getting into politics in his home country has long been a dream.
