Indonesia tells UN other countries should leave Papua issue

Indonesia's government has told the United Nations that other countries must respect its sovereignty in West Papua.

Pacific regional concern about human rights abuses in Papua region surfaced again at the current session f the UN General Assembly in New York.

West Papua has been gripped by weeks of protests, a heavy security forces crackdown and violent unrest which has killed dozens of people.
