Protecting and strengthening the Pacific's booming coconut industry has been discussed in Samoa at the annual Pacific Week of Agriculture.
The discussion was led by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research or the ACIAR which is helping to preserve the region's diverse range of coconut palms.
ACIAR's Irene Kernot told Ben Robinson Drawbridge about the threats facing coconut farmers in the region.
