From , 5:05 am on 2 September 2019

Pacific travellers to and from Auckland are being warned to vaccinate against measles at least two weeks ahead of time to prevent the viral illness spreading to the region.

New Zealand's Director of Public Health Caroline McElnay says a lot of people have close ties with the Pacific region and with school holidays looming, many plan to travel.
