Researchers at the University of Guam have found climate data from coral in an unlikely environment.

Assistant Professor of Tropical Meteorology at the university, Mark Lander, says they found a climate signal in coral from Apra Harbor, which goes against the grain of how climate data is usually extracted from coral.

He talked to Tim Glasgow about what they found.
