From , 3:02 pm on 21 August 2019

Fiji's Women's Crisis Centre is calling for a transparent investigation into allegations of assault made against the Prime Minister.

Opposition MP Pio Tikoduadua alleges Frank Bainimarama abused him on the grounds of Parliament prior to attending the Pacific Islands Forum.

Shamima Ali says Fiji is already a violent society, this sets a bad example and it is in the Prime Minister's best interests to clear the cloud over his head.

Jenny Meyer asked her what is alleged to have happened.
