The World Bank says Papua New Guinea should look to agriculture as an economic driver to counter its reliance on fossil fuels.
The bank is predicting strong growth in PNG but warns the threat of external shocks make economic diversification a sensible move.
World Bank agricultural specialist, Allan Tobalbal Oliver, told Ben Robinson Drawbridge the bank has provided about $US70 million since 2011 for the Productive Partnership Agriculture Project.
