Changes in policy-making and infrastructure provisions by Pacific governments are said to be critical in tackling the impacts of e-waste in the region.
The director of New Zealand's Computer Recycling Patrick Moynahan says conversations must continue to generate broader community awareness on the issue of e-waste.
Mr Moynahan tells Christine Rovoi these changes are critical not just for the preservation of the islands, but more importantly for the well-being of their people.
