Trade unions in Australia and New Zealand have condemned the arrests.
The Australian Council of Trade Unions says it's a "bare-faced attack on political freedom," while the New Zealand equivalent, the Council of Trade Unions, planned to picket Fiji's High Commission in Wellington on Thursday.
NZCTU spokesperson Sam Huggard told Dominic Godfrey the arrests were concerning.
