More drama in the Cook Islands parliament

The Cook Islands Parliament is due to sit for the first time on Monday 8th April after the general election held in June 2018.

However on Thursday a newly re-elected MP Te-Hani Brown, announced she had resigned her seat on Atiu amid an electoral challenge in the High Court from defeated candidate, Nandie Glassie.

Jenny Meyer spoke to the Clerk of the 24 seat Cook Islands Parliament, Tangata Vainerere, about the current political uncertainty.
