UNICEF aiming for toilets for all in Solomon Islands

One person in every three in Solomon Islands doesn't have access to toilets and UNICEF wants to end this.

The agency aims to end open defecation in the country.

The agency's Pacific Representative, Sheldon Yett, has just returned from a visit to Malaita Province and he told Jenny Meyer villages there are making good progress with not only building more toilets but understanding the positive impacts of hygiene and santitation on child health.
