NGO highlights vulnerabilties of Pacific communities

An NGO says the rights of Pacific communities remain vulnerable to growing economic development in the region

The Diplomacy Training Programme offers education and training, as well as capacity-building for NGOs, human rights defenders and community advocates.

The director of the Australian NGO, Patrick Earle says development outcomes can benefit Pacific communities more if people are aware of their rights and of the responsibilities of governments and companies.

The NGO turns 30 this year, and its director Patrick Earle spoke to Johnny Blades about its efforts in the Pacific
