Charter flights from China have been arriving in Fiji and New Caledonia bringing tourists for a holiday break during the Chinese New Year.
Their numbers are small but expected to grow.
The CEO of the South Pacific Tourism Organisation Chris Cocker told Walter Zweifel that work is being done to gain a better understanding of the Chinese market.
