UN Women making PNG society safer

The United Nations has launched 16 days of activism against gender based violence to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.

UN Women's Papua New Guinea country representative, Susan Ferguson, says the aim is to amplify the voices of women to advocate for gender equality, stopping violence and making communities safer.

Jenny Meyer asked Ms Ferguson how much difference campaigns like this make.
