Three accomplished New Zealand athletes of Pacific descent are set to be inducted into the Otara Sports Awards Hall of Fame in early December.
Chair of the Otara-Papatoetoe Local Board, Lotu Fuli, told Jenny Meyer this is the second year of the awards and she hopes they will acknowledge the contribution of families in the community and inspire more young people to participate in sports.
