Fiji's Sitiveni Rabuka has been acquitted of electoral fraud leaving the way open for him to contest the election less than three weeks away; Tahiti's Pouvanaa a Oopa rehabilitated 41 years after his death; Fiji says it will use its seat on the UN Human Rights Council to pursue climate justice, the rights of children and gender equality, especially within the Pacific; New Zealand's government has defended giving Papua New Guinea 15 million dollars to help it host the APEC leaders summit; As New Zealand hails its ratification of the PACER Plus trade agreement, there are claims that Pacific countries are set to lose out; Government, community and business leaders from the Pacific are meeting in Wellington next week to try to 'reset' the relatonship between New Zealand and the Pacific.
