From , 4:04 pm on 25 October 2018

Disaster authorities in CNMI are working to clear downed powerlines and trees blocking roads across the islands to enable them to get out into communities that have been devastated by Super Typhoon Yutu.

The category five storm passed directly over Tinian overnight lashing the islands with winds over 350 kph leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.

A Homeland Security and Emergency Management officer in CNMI, Nadine Deleon Guerrero told Koroi Hawkins initial reports indicate Yutu has left a level of infrastructure damage not seen before in CNMI.
