Pacific tertiary students living in New Zealand with a good head for numbers are being encouraged to apply to the Toloa Tertiary Scholarship programme for financial support.
The programme is in its fourth year and hopes to encourage young Pacific people to study science, technology, engineering and maths and into careers in those fields.
The scholarships are worth up to US$11,600 over three years.
New Zealand's Minister for Pacific Peoples, Aupito William Sio, told Jenny Meyer about the aims of the programme.
