Thousands of people have been lining up at voter registration booths in Solomon Islands as preparations ramp up towards provincial and national elections early next year.
The chief electoral officer, Mose Saitala, says more than 50,000 new voters are expected to be added to the 286,000 strong roll which was last updated in 2014.
Mr Saitala spoke with Koroi Hawkins about the process.
