Nauru camp demolished to hide refugee abuse - advocate

The oldest refugee camp on Nauru is being demolished just days before the country hosts the Pacific Islands Forum leaders summit.

Regional Processing Centre Three, or RPC3, housed about 130 people, including children in mould infested tents thought to have caused widespread respiratory and skin infections.

The refugee advocate Ian Rintoul spoke with Ben Robinson Drawbridge and says the camp's removal is a deliberate attempt to hide the worst refugee facility from visiting dignatories and journalists.
