Fresh push to make Te Reo Maohi official

There is a fresh push in French Polynesia to make Te Reo Maohi an official language to help it survive.

The territory has to heed the French constitution which specifies French as the only language for all of the Republic.

The latest effort comes from the Protestant Church whose synod raised the problem last week.
