Health services in PNG's western province show further strain

Catholic Health Services in Papua New Guinea's Western Province says the supply of basic medicines is under constant strain.

Daru hospital in the provincial capital is reportedly on the verge of closure due to critical shortages of supplies.

It's added more hurdles to the ongoing treatment of thousands of people suffering from tuberculosis in the remote province.
