Nauru has banned Australia's public broadcaster from attending this year's Pacific Islands Forum, in a move that has outraged journalists and media freedom advocates.
The island, which houses one of Australia's detention centres for refugees and asylum seekers, is due to host this year's edition of the region's pre-eminent leaders' forum.
