Pacific people's innovative ideas that have translated into commercial success to benefit the community have been recognised in New Zealand.
The Pacific Business Trust held its national awards in Auckland last Friday.
Winners included Jitel Contracting, Kokiti Workshops, Moana Research, The Food Company NZ, Rachel Lewis of Devitise Marketing, and Pacific Biofert.
Dance choreographer and business woman, Parris Goebel, won the Legacy Award.
Chief executive Kim Tuaine told Sara Vui-Talitu that all nominees and finalists were independently assessed and judged.
