The International Committee of the Red Cross, or ICRC in Papua New Guinea says victims of the February earthquake still desperately need assistance.

The PNG government's disaster management team estimates that more than 500,000 people were affected by the 7.5 magnitude quake and that half of them still need immediate assistance.

The ICRC estimates the death toll at 100.

The charity's deputy head of mission in PNG, Ahmad Hallak, told Moera Tuilaepa Taylor what an assessment team to the Highlands recently found.
