Competition for Pacific war memorial closes

The first stage of a competition funded by New Zealand's Ministry for Culture and Heritage for a Pacific Island memorial at the Pukeahu Natiional War Memorial Park in Wellington finishes this evening.

The Niue High Commissioner to New Zealand Fisa Pihigia is heading the panel comprised of an architerct and artists from the New Zealand/Pacific community.

He told Don Wiseman what their work will involve after tonight's close of entries.
