The Commonwealth is aiming to ensure no Pacific child is left behind.
This has been a theme at the Commonwealth Education Ministers Conference in Nadi this week - the first such meeting to be held in the Pacific.
Several hundred people, including government ministers from 33 of the 53 Commonwealth members and former New Zealand prime minister Helen Clark have been attending the meeting, focussing on creating sustainable and resilient education systems.
The Commonwealth secretary general, Patricia Scotland, told Don Wiseman that collaboration could ensure all 53 nations have flourishing education sectors.
