Fiji's Disaster Management Office says it is anticipating Tropical Cyclone Gita to make landfall in Fiji this evening.
The Director for Fiji's National Disaster Management Office says the cyclone will reach Fiji waters this afternoon.
Anare Leweniqila, told Jenny Meyer two islands in Fiji's southern waters are in the cyclone's direct path and threaten 2500 people living on Ono-i-Lau and Vatoa.
