Solomons to try Iceland's approach to fisheries

Solomon Islands hopes it can put in place some of the ideas it has learned from a recent fisheries exchange trip to Iceland.

Iceland has developed from being one of the world's poorest countries to one of the richest on the back of its fishing industry.

The Solomons Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources' Ferral Lasi says his country wants to maximize the industry's potential.

He told Sara Vui-Talitu that Iceland's success is focused on better management and being innovative.
