Port Moresby governor scheme to get youth off the streets

The governor of Papua New Guinea's national capital is planning a nationwide scheme to get idle youth off the streets.

Powes Parkop says the scheme would give them work training or have their involvement in commmunity activities.

He told Don Wiseman the idle youth pose a liability for the city and for the country.
