Students eligibility under investigation at PNG Unitech

Students in PNG who committed criminal acts during the unrest surrounding protests over the past months will not be allowed to continue with their studies.

This is according to the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Papua New Guinea's University of Technology in Lae which is to resume classes classes on 29th August.

The academic board says students will be expected on the campus on 24th August for registration, then there will be two weeks spent revising the interrupted semester one, running through to September 11th.

A week is set aside for the first semester exams from 12th September.
