Australia's prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has announced a new minister for international development and the Pacific in a cabinet reshuffle.
Senator Concetta Fierravanti-Wells takes the position from Steve Ciobo, who is now the Liberal government's trade minister.
Ms Fierravanti-Wells was first elected to the Australian Senate in 2004, after a career as a government lawyer and policy advisor.
Julie Bishop retains the foreign affairs portfolio.
