The LBJ hospital board of directors has hired an off island health specialist as the new chief executive officer for the LBJ Medical Centre.
He is Joseph Davis-Fleming, a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
He served as executive director for CURE International in Kabul, Afghanistan and CEO for Square Hospitals Limited, in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He replaces Mike Gerstenberger who did not seek a contract renewal.
