He says the appointment of the Commission has given the confidence not only to the people of the country, but it has given a certain degree of confidence to the international community.

Dr Prasad says the economic forecast for Fiji is very positive and he's optimisitc that and one should expect better growth in 2013 and beginning of 2014.

He says although it could still be somewhere around two per cent, the foundation for better growth beyond 2014 can be laid in the next two years.
