The Lamana Group in Papua New Guinea will soon construct a multimillion dollar hotel on Taumeasina reclaimed island in Samoa.

A deal has been signed between the group and the pacific nation's Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi.

The group will invest around 50 million US dollars for the construction of a seventy hotel room on the island and 30 villas including restaurants as well as conference facilities, cafes and entertainment areas.

Leading the group's delegation for the confirmation of the project and signing of memorandum of understanding is PNG's Reserve Bank governor, Loi Bakani, who told the prime minister that he will be the first to pour cement for the foundation of the project.
