Samoa's Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi has been named the Person of the Decade by the Samoa Observer.

Tuilaepa has been Prime Minister of Samoa for 13 years and a member of Parliament for his constituency of Lepa for 30 years.

In profiling Tuilaepa, the Samoa Observer says one has to understand that he believes he's always right, never wrong.

As far as he is concerned, it writes, anyone who questions him is either insanely wrong or an unforgivable idiot.

The newspaper says Tuilaepa feels that way because he believes he is chosen to do anything he thinks is right to move Samoa forward economically, never mind what anyone else thinks.

The newspaper said one thing the PM needs to work diligently on now is poverty and once he overcomes it,all his other achievements will continue to shine.
