A new art gallery will be officially opened today at the Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies at the University of the South Pacific in Fiji.
"Called the Gallery of Oceanian Art , it will be available for public viewing tomorrow."
The gallery's inaugural exhibition is entitled 'Oceania Past and Present'.
It will focus on past and present works from the Centre's original and current artists, many of whom have won regional and international awards.
Evident in the new works are new styles, new influences, and new explorations.
