Ophthalmologists, doctors and nurses from around the Pacific can now receive eye-care training in a state-of-the-art facility in Fiji.
The newly constructed Pacific Eye Institute in Suva has met an urgent need for an improved training and treatment facility.
The 1.9 million US dollar institute was jointly funded by the Australian and New Zealand Governments.
