New Zealand's Foreign Affairs Minister plans to meet diplomat expelled from Fiji

New Zealand's Foreign Affairs minister, Murray McCully, says he plans to meet with this country's expelled acting High Commissioner to Fiji in the next few days.

Caroline McDonald arrived back in New Zealand over the weekend , after being declared persona non grata and being given seven days to leave Fiji.

The Foreign Affairs Minister, Murray McCully, says he'll be getting a debrief from her in the next few days.

"The expulsion of a diplomat particularly a acting high commissioner is a very serious matter it's only happened three times in New Zealand's history, twice now in respect to Fiji."
