30 live dolphins will be flown from Solomon Islands to Dubai later today, after a failed attempt to get a court injunction stopping their export.
The company, Marine Mammal Education Centre and Exporters, says the dolphins will be flown to a marine park in the United Arab Emirates onboard two DC-10 aircraft.
The High Court in Honiara has dismissed an environmental group's attempt to stop the shipment, citing a lack of evidence.
Lawrence Makili, the Pacific director of the environmental organisation, Earth Island Institute, says the fight to prevent further exports will continue.
Mr Makili says he has a civil suit hearing at the High Court next week.
