China province opens doors to PNG companies

Companies in Papua New Guinea have been invited to do business in the Peoples' Republic of China's Liaoning Province.

A delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is in PNG this week to meet with business people.

The Post Courier reports Chinese Delegation leader Zhang Ruming saying that trade relations between PNG and Liaoning last year was worth 1-point-14 million US dollars, and their offer would see this figure greatly increase.

Liaoning, with its population of 43 million people, is fast developing to become an industrial province and is the home to some big companies in China.
